WhatsApp integration
Reach parents on WhatsApp, straight from MY1ST.
WhatsApp is where Malaysian parents actually reply. MY1ST composes the message from your real data and sends it there — so you stop copy-pasting between an app and a chat window.
How does the WhatsApp integration work?
MY1ST builds the message from the record in front of you — this invoice, this learner, this class — and sends it to the guardian linked to that learner over WhatsApp. The details are already filled in, and the message goes to the right parent because it's routed by the guardian link, not by whichever chat you had open.
What you get
Why WhatsApp, specifically
Parents already read it
No new app to convince a parent to install before you can tell them class is cancelled.
Filled in from your data
Amounts, dates, class names and invoice links come from MY1ST — not retyped by you at the end of a long day.
Routed by guardian link
The fee reminder goes to the parent who pays, because MY1ST knows which guardian is attached to which learner.
Common questions
- Do I need WhatsApp Business?
- It depends on your current setup and how much you send. Message us and we'll walk through the options for how you message parents today.
- Will this spam parents?
- You send deliberately, per learner or per class. MY1ST removes the copy-pasting, not your judgement about when a message is worth sending.
- Can parents reply?
- Yes. They can also reach you in the MY1ST Guardian app, where replies can be turned on or off per class thread so an announcement doesn't turn into a hundred-message pile-up.
