How does MY1ST handle fees and invoicing?

Common questions

Do I need to issue e-Invoices as a solo tutor?
Most likely not yet. Per LHDN's e-Invoice Guideline, taxpayers with annual turnover below RM1 million are exempt from issuing e-Invoices, which is where most solo educators sit. Can parents pay through the app?
Yes, when you connect a Malaysian payment gateway. MY1ST integrates with iPay88 and SenangPay for FPX, cards and e-wallets, and reconciles the payment back to the invoice automatically.
Can I still take cash?
Of course. Record a cash or bank-transfer payment against the invoice and the balance updates the same way. MY1ST does not force you to change how parents prefer to pay.
