Attendance & access

Attendance tracking that takes one tap, not one form.

Mark the class in seconds, let parents know automatically when a child doesn't turn up, and keep a record you can actually produce months later.

How does attendance work in MY1ST?

You open the class and tap each learner present — that's the whole workflow. MY1ST timestamps it, updates the learner's history, and can notify a guardian when their child is marked absent. For educators using turnstiles or card readers, HIK access control can feed check-ins in automatically instead.

What you get

Attendance you'll actually keep up with

  • One tap per learner

The register opens on the class you're teaching right now. No date-picking, no searching, no forms.

  • Parents told automatically

A no-show alert reaches the guardian while it still matters — not when you get home and remember.

  • A history that holds up

Every mark is timestamped and kept. Pull a term's attendance for a parent, a report card or your own records in one go.

Common questions

What if I forget to take attendance during class?
You can mark a past class. MY1ST records when the entry was actually made, so the history stays honest rather than silently rewriting itself.
Can attendance be automatic?
Yes, if you have turnstile or card-reader hardware. MY1ST integrates with HIK access control so a check-in at the door becomes an attendance mark, and the parent gets notified their child arrived safely.
Do parents see the whole class?
No. A guardian sees their own children's attendance only. Nobody outside your account sees your register.
