HIK integration
Turn door check-ins into attendance, automatically.
If you have HIK turnstiles or card readers at your entrance, MY1ST can turn a check-in at the door into an attendance mark — and tell the parent their child arrived.
How does the HIK integration work?
HIK access control hardware handles entry at the door. Connected to MY1ST, a learner's check-in becomes their attendance record for that session, and their guardian can be notified that they arrived. You stop taking a register for learners who already badged in, and parents get the reassurance without asking for it.
What you get
Attendance without the register
Check-in is the attendance
The learner badges in at the door and the session register updates itself — no second pass by you.
Parents told they arrived
The message a parent most wants is 'my child got there safely'. It sends without you thinking about it.
Still auditable
Automatic marks land in the same attendance history as manual ones, so a term's record is one continuous story.
Common questions
- Do I need HIK hardware to use MY1ST?
- No. Attendance works perfectly well by tapping learners present in the app. HIK is for educators who already have turnstiles or readers installed.
- I rent a room with existing turnstiles. Can I use them?
- Possibly — it depends on the hardware and who administers it. Message us with what's installed and we'll tell you honestly whether it can connect.
- What if the hardware fails?
- You take attendance in the app as normal. The integration is a convenience on top of manual marking, never the only way in.
Other integrations
- WhatsAppSend invoices, schedules and reminders without leaving MY1ST.
- iPay88FPX, cards and e-wallets — reconciled to invoices automatically.
- SenangPayRecurring fees and payment links, wired to your invoicing.
- TimeTacStaff time tracking connected to class assignments.
- LarkTeam chat, docs and meetings synced with your class calendar.
