For solo tutors
Software for solo tutors in Malaysia.
If you teach on your own — from home, from a rented room, from the family dining table — MY1ST handles the admin that comes with it, so the business side stays small enough to run between classes.
Is MY1ST right for a solo tutor?
Yes — this is exactly who MY1ST is built for. One educator, their own students, their own fees. You don't need a center, a receptionist or a finance person to use it, and there's nothing to configure for a team you don't have. If you currently run on a notebook, a spreadsheet and several WhatsApp chats, MY1ST replaces all three.
What you get
Built for one educator, not a franchise
Admin that fits between classes
Take attendance in a tap, issue the month's invoices in one pass, answer a parent without opening a spreadsheet.
Nothing you don't need
No staff roles, no branch hierarchy, no enterprise setup. The app assumes one educator, because that's who you are.
Looks professional to parents
Proper invoices, a real schedule and their own parent app — the things that make a home tutor feel like a business worth paying.
Common questions
- I only have a handful of students. Is this overkill?
- No. The smaller your operation, the less time you have for admin — MY1ST is free to start, so you can run your current students through it without committing anything.
- I teach SPM and UPSR groups at different fees. Can it handle that?
- Yes. Each class carries its own enrolments and its own fees, so a one-to-one SPM slot and a weekend UPSR group bill differently without you tracking it by hand.
- Do I need to worry about LHDN e-Invoice?
- Most likely not yet — taxpayers under RM1 million annual turnover are exempt from issuing e-Invoices per LHDN's guideline, which is where most solo tutors sit. MY1ST already supports it for when you grow past that. Confirm your own position with LHDN or your tax agent.
