What is the MY1ST Guardian app?

MY1ST Guardian is a free app for the parents of your learners. It shows one parent their own children only: when classes are, whether their child attended, what is owed and what has been paid. Most of the messages you currently answer by hand are questions this app answers on its own.

What you get

  • Their child, not your business

    A guardian sees only their own children's records. Your other students, your fees, your income — none of it is visible to them.

  • Answers without asking

    'Is there class this Saturday?' and 'Did I pay for June?' are questions the app already answers, at 11pm, without you.

  • Progress they can point to

    Attendance history and updates give parents something concrete — which is what keeps them enrolled next term.

Common questions

Does it cost parents anything?
No. The MY1ST Guardian app is free for the parents of your learners on iOS, Android and Huawei AppGallery.
What if a parent won't install an app?
Then keep reaching them over WhatsApp from MY1ST — the Guardian app is an addition, not a requirement. Many educators run both.
Can one parent have children with different educators?
Yes. A guardian sees each of their children, and the educator each child learns with, in one place.
